{tit}{cp}UNBREAKABLE RACING ENGINE MOUNT STANDARD HEIGHT VE/VF V8 (To suit L98 L77 LS2 LS3 V8) The engine mounts are all made from 5.0mm laser cut steel plate, components are laser cut and precision folded for increased strength and accuracy. They are all jigged for welding and finished in gloss black enamel paint. The same bushes are used for all mounts, a 50.0mm diameter cylindrical rubber bush and a 13.0mm thru bolt. Included in the design is a long lasting cylindrical bush that is always under compression no matter the direction of the load being applied. Suitable for track cars or vehicles with tight clearance engine bays or big diameter exhaust systems. The large diameter bush absorbs the engine vibration, but increases resistance the more the engine moves, reducing the movement to about 5mm. Can be used individually on the passenger side in conjunction with factory mount on the drivers side to reduce engine lifting under acceleration and maintain a smooth factory feel, or in pairs to stiffen up the front end and significantly reduce engine movement during high speed cornering, acceleration and deceleration. Just as expected, the M6 Gran Coupe comes with BMW’s 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8, delivering 553bhp to the baqck wheels and driving the M6 to 62mph in 4.2 seconds. Fri, 30 Aug 2013The McLaren P1 (pictured) is almost sold out The last time McLaren decided to build a supercar to beat all supercars was with the McLaren F1 but, despite it’s huge ability and now iconic status – and huge value – they had to give up making it after just 64 cars as they couldn’t find buyers. Fortunately – for McLaren are a bit stretched non all fronts at the moment – it seems that history isn’t repeating itself with the new McLaren P1 as reports today suggest the P1 is all but sold out. Autocar are reporting there are just a handful of the 375 P1s left to sell, with the P1 allocation for America, the Middle East and Asia already sold out and just a handful of cars left for Europe and other parts of the world.
